Can I get an Uber in Durgerdam?

Definitely, both Uber's and Taxi's are easily avaialble in Durgerdam. If you need help calling a taxi, please let our colleagues in the hotel know, or reach out to info@dedurgerdam.com if you would like to pre-arrange a taxi. 

How close is Durgerdam to Amsterdam?

Durgerdam is a part of Amsterdam, so, its very close! Here are some common distances that might come in handy: 

Schiphol 27km (20-30 min)

Central station 14km (15-25 min)

Zuidas 15km (15-25 min)

RAI 13km (15-20 min)

 

How can I adjust or cancel my reservation?

Adjustments and cancellations depend on the rate you have booked. If you booked our 'Best Available Rate' you can cancel or modify your booking up until 48 hours prior to your arrival check-in time of 3pm. Kindly note that changes are subject to availabilit. In case of late cancellation or no show, we will charge one night. We hope we won’t have to. If you booked a package or a non-rfundable rate, then changes and cancellationsa are not possible as the rate is, like the name says, non-refundable.

Is parking available?

Yes, there is a public parking just 150m away from the hotel.

I would like to plan a meeting in De Durgerdam, how can I do so?

From a brianstorm session in our De Zee Boardroom or a private lunch with your colleagues, De Durgerdam is the perfect backdrop for any occassion. Surrounded by inspirational views, get your creativity flowing in our tastefully designed meeting room and restaurant. Can I book connecting rooms or add an extra bed?

We would love to accommodate your group and family in the hotel. Being a monumental building, there are a few work arounds though. We do not have connecting rooms, but can gladly book rooms next to each other (the doors are accross from each other, so we would argue it is almost connecting). 

Adding a bed to the room is not possible due to the size of the rooms and for your own safety. However, we do have a baby cot, and can gladly discuss with you options to accommodate your family. 

Are pets allowed?

Feel welcome to bring along your well-behaved four-legged friend with you on the terrace during the spring and summer season. 

Pets are not allowed in the restaurant and the rooms. 

What tours and activities do you offer?

Glad you asked! Durgerdam is not only beautiful, but also full of things to do. Whether you stay local and enjoy a dip in the lake and the sun on on the jetty, or venture further afield on one of our bikes to Amsterdam or the hitnerlands, there are endless possibilities of things to do.

We have made a list of not-to-be-missed sights as well as the best routes to wander or bike through, but if you need any help with further recommendations, or booking a bike or boat, please reach out to Marta

Can I rent a bike? 

Yes! we have Veloretti bikes available for rent, both electric and regular at €40 and €20 per bike per day, respectively. 

You can rent these at the hotel, but if you prefer to be sure, you can book them in advance with our colleague Marta. Kindly note bikes are subject to availability.

Can I request a late check-out or early-check in?

You are welcome to De Durgerdam at any time. Checking-in is available at any time from 3.00pm on the scheduled day of arrival. Naturally, if your room is ready before 3pm we can get you checked-in earlier. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to leave your rooms by 11.00am. Late check-out after this time can be requested, subject to availability, and may be charged at an hourly rate at our discretion. We would be more than happy to look after your luggage if you wish to arrive early or depart later.

Do you have business facilities?

Absolutely! We are happy to discuss your business needs should you need something specific or a meeting space. But you can rest assured that the basics are covered. High speed internet, quiet areas, comfortable chairs and inspirational views.
